Q&A With Jeff
Jeff is another star from SCAD, but he speaks Wingdings and hails from Elkridge, Maryland.
What inspires you?
Stories inspire me to create visual tales of my own, so I can inspire or entertain others. It's a vicious cycle of consumption and sleeplessness.
Why did you pick a career in animation?
I find joy in being able to problem solve creatively. If I'm going to spend 135,540 hours of my life working, then I might as well spend that time doing something I enjoy.
Thoughts about Portland?
Delicious food, great vibes and fun people. Just don't put a bird on anything and you'll survive.
Poutine. Or anything greasy really. It hits my soul and sends me into a blissful siesta that could last two lifetimes.
When will you know that you’re successful?
When my stubbornness appears less like arrogance and more like determination.
When you where 6, what did you think you’d would be when you grew up?
I was dreaming that I would grow up to be a superhero like my role model at the time, Terry McGinnis.
What’s your biggest failure so far?
My biggest failure in life so far is saying no to opportunities and regretting the decision.
What is your most prized possession?
My most prized possession is my memory. Without memories, everything I hold on to would become no more than an insignificant paperweight.
